Making A Home Automation System (pt. 2) : MQTT Using Arduino Nano 33 IoT & WeMos D1 Mini

This is the second home automation video where we look at something that is very important - MQTT communication. If you are new to home automation, then all of this may sound complicated so I will try my best to break it down to a level that is easy to understand.

At the end of the video, you will get a thorough understanding of how MQTT can be used for communication. We will also control WiFi enabled boards using it. We add an LED to the Arduino Nano 33 IoT board and this LED is controlled remotely from a switch that is connected to a WeMos D1 mini board. All communication occurs through the MQTT broker which also communicates with Home Assistant.
