Japanese Car Manufacturers Insist on Brexit Promise Being Kept
Japanese media has this week been reporting that Japanese car manufacturers Nissan and Toyota are intending to press the UK government on its promise, under Theresa May, to compensate them for any costs involved in a no deal brexit. The government had promised that car manufacturing would remain just as competitive after brexit, no matter what the outcome, and they intend to hold them to that.
