Tier 4 chaos: Polish lorry driver stuck outside Dover desperate to get home for Christmas

Polish lorry driver Stanislaw Olbrich is stuck outside of Dover after the Eurotunnel was closed for 48 hours and is worried he won't be able to get home for Christmas. Foreign lorry drivers stranded in Kent say their families 'need them home' for Christmas. Chaos at the Port of Dover has left more than 900 trucks parked on the M20 and lorry parks are filling. Drivers have been receiving water and snacks from emergency services, Kent County Council and charities as they are left parked across the county. Folkestone and Hythe District Council revealed it handed out 15 fines today for HGVs that had parked on laybys illegally.
