Cook a ruffed grouse in vintage cast iron - plucked, spiced, roasted!

They don't seem that big, but you can stretch your grouse out into two meals. First, as a roasted grouse with some veggies in a vintage cast iron pot. Next, save up the carcass and extra skin and simmer it all up for a nice broth. Use the broth as a base for a second meal. In the Big Wild Year we are stretching out our food supply as best we can and using as much from each animal as we can.
