Nox: Warrior - Episode 01 - Trial by Fire in the City of Iron Oaths

They dragged me from my world and cast me into Nox without so much as a warning. One moment I was ordinary. The next, I stood before the gates of Don Muir, city of the Fire Knights, where steel speaks louder than words and weakness is carved away in flame. If this Nox Playthrough is my new reality, then Episode One begins with a blade in my hand and doubt in my chest.

Horrendous does not hand out respect. He demands proof. To walk the Warrior’s path in this Nox ARPG, I must survive the Gauntlet—a crucible designed to break pretenders. But before the trial, the city tests my worth in quieter ways. The chief engineer sends me to the apple farms, where a cave festers with chaos. Some reckless urchin stirred the bats into a frenzy, and now the fields echo with shrieks at dusk.

Leather armor. A simple sword. That is all I carry into the dark.

The cave breathes rot and guano. Bats descend in flurries of teeth and wings, forcing me to learn the rhythm of combat the hard way. Swing. Step. Guard. In this first stretch of Nox Gameplay PC, every strike feels heavy, every mistake personal. Urchins dart from shadows with knives and cackling bravado, but bravado bleeds like anything else. When the last echo fades, I stand alone among the fallen, petition in hand, proof that I can finish what I start.

Then the Gauntlet opens.

Fire traps roar to life the moment I cross the threshold. Stone corridors snap and hiss with hidden mechanisms. Urchins return, more vicious now, fighting like cornered rats. Each chamber escalates the lesson: move or burn, strike or fall. This is not spectacle; this is initiation. The Nox Game wastes no time teaching a Warrior what survival truly costs.

At the end waits a troll—towering, brutal, a wall of muscle and malice. My arms ache. My armor is scorched. There is no magic to hide behind, no summons to save me. Only timing, grit, and the will to stand my ground. Steel meets flesh in a clash that echoes through Don Muir’s stone heart.

When the troll falls, the silence feels earned.
