The Story of a young soldier who receives six days leave to go home to see his mother as a reward for his heroic deed in the battle. During his journey he finds such enduring experiences, meeting his lovelife and finding the grim of war outside battlefield as he helps some unfortunate civilians in the way. A very touching and affecting classic cinema that has inspired the following successful war movie in recent years, such as Saving Private Ryan and 1917.
