Some foods to choose during winter:

2. Brussels Sprouts: They have a high glucosinolate content which are important phytonutrients for health because they are the chemical starting points for a variety of cancer-protective substances.
3. Dates: The soluble and insoluble fibers and amino acids present in dates can also help to improve the digestive system.
4. Turnips: Are very low calorie root vegetables; carry just 28 calories per 100,very good source of anti-oxidants, minerals, vitamins and dietary fiber.
5. Oranges: Full of soluble fiber, oranges are helpful in lowering cholesterol.
