“Milyen varázslatos könnyedséget hozhat a nők mindennapjaiba a mesterséges intelligencia? És milyen nem várt, mélyreható nehézségeket? A mesterséges intelligencia megoldások fejlesztői csapataiban jellemzően alacsony a nők aránya. Alig ülnek nők azoknál az asztaloknál, ahol a mesterséges intelligencia szabályozásáról döntenek. Amíg ez a helyzet fennáll, könnyen kerülnek olyan torzítások a rendszerekbe, amelyek a férfiak számára egyszerűen láthatatlanok. Sokan vannak, akiknek jólesne inkább csendben kimaradni ebből a tech-forradalomból, tenni a dolgukat tovább, dolgozni keményen, mint eddig is. De mégis mi minden lenne lehetséges, ha a nők nemcsak használói és tárgyai lennének az új technológiának, hanem jól hallható kritikusai is? Ez az a gondolat, ami nem hagy nyugodni, amiről tudom: még ma beszélnünk kell!”

"Women are typically under-represented in the development teams of AI solutions. There are hardly any women sitting at the tables where decisions on the regulation of AI are made. As long as this situation persists, it is easy to introduce biases into systems that are simply invisible to men. There are many who would do well to stay quietly out of this tech revolution, keep doing their jobs, keep working hard as they have been. But what would be possible if women were not only users and objects of new technology, but also vocal critics?" These are the thoughts that Szilvia's speech explores.
