Roland's Versaworks Rip software will not and can not add a contour cut line around the edge of a design. For this reason you'll need another program to do this. I am most comfortable in Silhouette Studio and since it's easy to add a cut line there that's where I start. This process only takes a few minutes but you will need:

Make sure you have the Roland Cut Contour Color Swatch Download and Added to the Adobe Illustrator Swatch Library.
