April 20th 2022: Mr #UDO #DIRKSCHNEIDER, a stainless pillar of heavy metal, is yours truly BARBARA CASERTA's guest live @ LINEA ROCK to present new and first ever solo album "#MyWay" (Atomic Fire Records), 17 cover songs, some unexpected, some predictable but never obvious in the final selection. We got deepen on how this all started as a chapter on his own, choosing the tracks and putting a UDO-stamp on 'em, the personal motivation behind this project, rediscovering memories, the tough approach to singing in his own language (german) and why it never happened before, the meaning of playing with his son and also some old friends like Peter Baltes and Stefan Kaufmann this time as a family-team effort, what he misses of the early days, keeping it true-strong-alive-and-kicking thru the years from the bottom of his metal heart, what still keeps it up, the consistency of his voice and spirit, his secret wish (very interesting and special one indeed!), what's next and... Which of this covers he feels like it was his own song? Which songs of his history with ACCEPT & U.D.O. he considers his very signature and pure essence?
