Documentary portrays the current culture around the Spanish wine through two very different kinds of wine: Riojas and Dry Sherries, corresponding to two areas in terms of climate,landscape, heritage and culture.
All these factors are the venues for the most exciting place, The Warehouse. Where through a complex liturgy ruled by the forces of the nature and the wisdom of the man and protected by the procedure of every Denomination of Origin, takes a place the miracle of transformation of the harvested grape, into wine with its own and peculiar personality, which will be consumed associated with different rites and social customs.
Each wine is produced in a sort of construction not only because traditions or architectural styles, but also to the different characteristics of temperature and humidity, technologies and customs, each one requiring different fermentation process and preparation.
The enology, a recent discipline that combines science and art, is creating a new culture in which is taking part - besides farmers, craftsmen and seasonal-, the enologists and sommeliers, chemists, agronomists engineers, biologists, architects, businessmen, specialists of marketing and innkeepers.
