Here's the blotter update:

- Yesterday, after I completed the broadcast, I moved the blotters to my study, and for the whole of the rest of the day, each time I walked past the open door to the room, I was captured by the sticky, fruity, witchy tuberose of Poison. And there could probably be no better blotter update than that on this absolute masterpiece of a scent. I'm sure it will forever remain one of my favourites. It's also worth mentioning that although my older sample is marginally fuller than the new one at drydown stage, the current version holds its own perfectly well. Do seek it out, if you can.

- As for the other three, the J'Adore continues to present a convincing carpet of jasmine and rose. The Diorissimo is commendably gentle and soft; hats off to Demachy for somehow managing to maintain some semblance of the original here. And the Miss Dior may be rather quiet, but at least its prim, assertive, sharp-eyed personality is intact.
