Quorn cottage pie/vegetarian cottage pie recipe :) Cook with me!

Hey guys, I hope you’re having a great day so far! :) Welcome back to what’s for tea, and I hope I find you all very well :)
Tonight for tea I made this lovely cottage pie…I decided to use Quorn (mock meat) for a wee change. It’s a really nice alternative and tastes just as fab as the meat version :)
I’ve listed everything I used below…in case you want to give it a go for yourself.

I used (serves 3)
300g Quorn or other TVP/vegetarian ground beef alternative
1 Large onion (diced)
1 Clove of garlic finely chopped or 1 teaspoon minced garlic
200g Frozen diced vegetables (peas/carrots/corn/green beans)
1 Tablespoon tomato puree
400ml Vegetable stock (I dissolved two Kallo vegetable cubes in boiling water)
A little vegetable oil for frying

700g White potatoes such as Maris Piper or King Edwards (a nice floury potato)
A knob of butter
A splash of cream

A handful of grated cheese (I used Cheddar)
