Day 20 - 30 - Day Yoga Challenge
Dear Yogi's and Friends,
A Gift of Gratitude from us to you & yours!
It's been a tradition for us to go into retreat at the beginning of the year to prepare for the year ahead. This year we thought it would be nice to offer others as a gift, through the magical technology of Zoom, to join us in welcoming the new year by retreating into the heart together.
Cultivating an attitude of gratitude with a 30-Day practice of 30 minutes each day of easeful yoga postures, positive intentions, breathwork & brief meditation to relax, open and connect to our inner stillness and heart.
If you’re inspired to do that, I invite you to consider joining us for our live on-line 30 Day "Gratitude Yoga Challenge", starting this January 15, 2021.
This is our New Year Gift to you. Its Free to you.
It's ok if you can’t make the live class, we will record each class and it will be available to you to practice the next day at your convenience.
According to the dictionary, gratitude is the quality of being thankful; the readiness to show appreciation for, and the ability to return kindness. As we approach the upcoming New Year, we are reminded to take time to consider things to be thankful for.
The 30-Day Gratitude Yoga challenge is full of opportunities to experience and demonstrate gratitude, as well as reflecting on the blessings in your own life.
What would it do for you to envision all aspects of your life through the lens of Gratitude? Even all of the ups and downs, dreams, hopes, and disappointments of the past year, held in the space of the heart. For 30 days we will clear & create the space in our mind, body and heart for Gratitude to grow and flourish, planting the seed of our intention together for wellbeing in 2021.
I find that a 30-day practice, a consistent physical act helps to induce a sustaining feeling of respect and peace, and helps to kickstart a regular yoga and meditation practice for the year. Also creating some simple rituals will create more ease in keeping it going, if possible, set aside a place where you 'll regularly practice. The space will collect subtle energy, and eventually just sitting or practicing in it will trigger the mind to turn inside, you don't need an entire room to practice.
