Story Structure (#4 of the From Pitch to Manuscript Series)

Why might you want to consider mapping out your story with a structural template, and how can you prevent being formulaic?

I spoke with Ann Garvin about what kind of structural paradigm she uses, how closely she adheres to it when actually writing the novel, and why structure is necessary for long-form stories.

This is the fourth in our series. It took place on Wednesday, May 6th. There are two more remaining in this series. For the complete schedule, see http://blog.stormwritingschool.com/pitch-to-manuscript/
