Writing Class: How to Use Narration to Help Readers Understand Characters

This course aired live on Tuesday, Mar. 24th at 1:30pm US central time.

The Subject: The narrator is your delivery vehicle for your story, so everything comes through them. I'll talk a little bit about how your choice of POV affects your narrational stance. And we'll talk about how close or distant the narrator can be to the character. But the main thrust of the session will be to look at practical ways in which you can give the reader insight into the character's internal workings via your narrator.

Cost: This thing will be free and open to anyone who wants to show up. At the end, I will ask for donations. If you found the instruction helpful and you can afford it, throw some money my way. If you can't afford it or this class didn't speak to your specific needs, save your money for a future class of mine. :)

I will give an assignment, and you can bring your questions about it to a Q&A on Thursday, Mar. 26th at 1:30pm US central time. That will be a Zoom meeting. Follow me on Facebook or Twitter or subscribe to my email for an invite to that meeting: stormwritingschool.com/p/livestream
