A Hayford Christmas - Paul Johnson Singers & Orchestra

An original medley of Christmas songs composed by Jack Hayford (Majesty) arr. by Paul Johnson. (Further edited for video by ohmusicsweetmusic).

Written, recorded and published in the late 1980s, the sound is more reminiscent of contemporary choral music of the 70s as sung in churches and on TV religious programs by microphoned singing groups performing to pre-recorded tracks. The arrangement and sound of these original songs are perfect for Christmas in any year. "Jesus is Name" is especially refreshing and fun.

Originally produced and released for the album "A Family Christmas Card" in 1986 by Word Music. The project enjoyed the support of The Church on the Way, Los Angeles with Jack Hayford as Pastor. Though no longer in print, used cassettes and LPs are regularly found on Ebay. An accompaniment track and orchestrations were also released by Word in 1986.
