Making Homemade Ricotta Cheese

Making homemade Ricotta cheese is easy and simple. Using wholesome ingredients to make this handmade naturally soft cheese, I show you how I make it for my family to enjoy and you can too with the easy recipe below. I hope you give it a try, because fresh cheese never tasted so good.

4 cup whole milk (substitute with 2%)
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 c buttermilk
1/2 tsp salt (iodized or sea salt)

Combine all ingredients together in a heavy bottom pot. Heat on medium to medium high heat. Stir occasionally to ensure bottom does not scorch. Curds will start forming at 190 - 200 F.
