Learn How to Make a Shadow Font for Cricut Design Space

In this video, you'll learn how to create text shadows or offset (or borders) in Inkspace for Design Space.

For this tutorial you would need the free designing software; Inkspace that can be downloaded from this site:

Once downloaded, install the software on your computer.

To create the shadow effect, then change it to a vector file by clicking on "object to path".

Next, click on "linked offset".

A diamond should now appear on the topmost part of your text. Click on the diamond to stretch out the text to create a shadow. Change the color of the shadow so you can easily differentiate between the original text and the shadow.

You can now save this file on your computer as an SVG and upload it on Design Space to get it cut!
