Garden Valley (Idaho) Fathers Day Fly In 6 20 21

Garden Valley (U88) Idaho is a beautiful grass airstrip. It is a good introduction to backcountry flying, a beginners strip. The airfield is at 3,177 feet elevation nestled between two mountains. You can't really see the runway from the air unless you a right over it. The proper procedure is to overfly the mid-field and then turn left downwind for runway 10. Land on runway 10 uphill and depart on runway 28, downhill. Every year they have a Fathers Day fly in and breakfast. This year there were over 100 airplanes.
