The Crow-Wallace-Pyramid Traverse: A 5 day off trail backpacking trip/Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness

Time stamp below. This was a 5 day, mostly off-trail backpacking traverse through the Absaroka Mountains of Montana. These Absaroka's are in the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness, which sits directly north of Yellowstone National Park and offer's some of the best backpacking opportunities in America. This trip starts down near Gardiner, and we hike north to Mount Wallace, which we climb. From there we hike north along the ridge tops to the back end of Hellroaring Creek, which we drop down to and camp. We get back on the ridge the next day and hike to Elk Lake, where we see a wolverine. We traverse over to Crow Mountain, which we climb, and then we camp at the very beautiful Bridge Lake. From there we traverse through the narrowest sections of the route to reach the Pyramid, which we also climb. From there we drop down Anderson Ridge to reach the Dam Creek trailhead along Mill creek, which ends the trip.
