Emotional interview with little Syrian refugee girl.

Since the start of the conflict in March 2011, millions of Syrians have been displaced- both externally and internally. An estimated quarter of a million lives have been lost in the struggle between regime change and a country gripped by this unrelenting war with sadly no end in sight. In November 2014 the UN estimated 13.6 million civilian refugees had fled the violence with little but the clothes on their backs to seek refuge either elsewhere internally inside Syria or in makeshift camps in bordering countries- Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq. The actual numbers may be far higher as some Syrians have sought refuge unregistered with families and friends in the host countries. Many of the most vulnerable civilians- the very young and the very old sadly have died along this journey of mass migration.
