Before You Buy Grip Lock Ties, Watch This! 😁
***This is not a paid promotion, just an honest review from a regular guy.*** Bottom line up front:
Will they replace cheap regular zip ties for everything? For me, no. But for specific projects and use cases where I'm worried about vibration damage/ scuffing, this is what I'll be using from now on. Added bonus, I like that they're easily released and reused. Meanwhile, the company has good customer service and people you can actually speak with.
I've been seeing Grip Lock Ties advertised on social media, especially the Experimental Aircraft Channel, and was wondering if they were just a gimmick or if they were worth the "premium" cost over run of the mill cheapos.
I've come to believe that they are worth it for the right application, whether it's aviation, automotive, powersports or racing. Or what ever else you can come up with.
In addition, I keep an "Emergency" bag in all of our vehicles which already have regular zip ties, some of these will be added as well.
They currently come in 8 and 12 inch lengths (although a 5" version is coming soon), with your choice of red, orange or blue. (Wouldn't mind seeing lime green in the future.... 🤔)
