Sluicing for gold in the llano river may 2020

my second trip to castell tx on the llano river. We went there with the plans to do a lot of searching but ended up only cleaning one hole. This area is a beautiful part of the river with a lot of options to play. There's plenty of areas for fishing, rockhounding, gold sluicing, and crevicing. We decided this time to concentrate on a large hole that we found that would catch mostly flood gold. This one hole ended up taking several hours to clean out which disappointed me a bit, but lessons learned. I hope to make it back sometime soon to try again. Hope you enjoy
