A pervasive unconscious bias still exists where women take on most essential but more maintenance tasks that go unrecognised and impact their career and progression. Not only are women referred to in this way - I have many female clients who have experienced being sidelined into minute-taking in meetings, but social conditioning means women say yes to these tasks. Today I share some research on the extent to which this impacts women. And I invite women to start saying "no" and to think more strategically about the things to say "yes" to.
