There are thousands of elephants in the island of Sri Lanka that requires such medical attention every day. Several teams of wildlife officers and vets are already deployed across such regions to cover the medical needs of these treasured giants in Sri Lanka. This video was recorded in Polonnaruwa when our agents rushed to the scene to cover a medical operation to save a young elephant. The elephant is very weak, with no ability to support itself even to stand up. Watch how these humans managed to ease the situation.
