In this episode of the BMW E30 325i Sport chassis restoration. I get my hands on some pressed panels from E30 Garage Norway (@e30garage.norway on Instagram) A company that's dedicated to providing NLA E30 parts (no longer available parts). An epic thing to be doing.

I unbox the first of thee parcels coming from them. These will help me speed up the chassis restoration tenfold. With these panels, I will save so much fabricating time and also the embarrassment of making parts nowhere near as refined as these.

These panels are exact copies of real panels cut from real BMW E30's. They have so many new parts coming for all of the E30's including the M3. Check them out on FB or Insta and send them a message if you need any advice on parts you may need. They seriously know what they're talking about.

I also prepare the prototype seat belt bracket E30GN sent to me. I had to make a few changes to make it fit properly but this isn't something you'll have to do once the design is complete.

I then weld it in place using a variety of plug welds, spot welds, and bead welds.

10:12 – Priming for protection with zinc-rich upol weld through primer
10:55 – Grinding back the welds
11:09 – Tapping a damaged thread and testing the bolts fit
11:24 – Removing some undercoating
11:33 – Priming the underside of the bracket
12:03 – Sealing everything from the other side
12:30 – Final grind and paint, as well as showing the undercoating and A.N.I air gun to apply it in the future.
