Ariel Adams of aBlogtoWatch reviews the Favre-Leuba Raider Harpoon 42 watch. This updated reference 00.10131.08.52.20 is a downsized 42mm version of the original (and still produced) 46mm Raider Harpoon dive watch, but otherwise maintains the same design aesthetic. The brand-distinctive polished and brushed steel case is 42mm wide (15mm thick and 50mm lug-to-lug) with an AR-coated sapphire crystal. Time is told via a single minute hand that moves in conjunction with a rotating hour chapter ring which is generously lumed, as are the applied hour markers. A small running seconds disc can be found at the center of the dial. Powering the watch is an in-house caliber FL301 movement, which is a base Sellita SW200 with a propriety module offering about 42 hours of power reserve. The watch is water-resistant to 300m. The matching steel bracelet features a fold-over safety clasp with a hidden diver’s extension as well as a micro-adjustment capability. Pricing for this reference of the Raider Harpoon 42 is $3,950 USD.
