NIGERIAN STUDENT EXPRESS
20 days Fast Track Studies Visa Application Process (Pilot Program for Nigerians)
FAST TRACK STUDY VISA APPLICATION PROCESS
Nigeria Student Express Program (NSE) have fully been implemented by IRCC to help fast-track study permit processing from Nigeria. Apparently, a good number of applicants have been receiving this update on their CIC account. I will strongly advice prospective applicants who qualify for this route to utilize it because through the NSE program, you will enjoy faster processing within an average of 20 days. More importantly, the process is straightforward once you feel you meet the requirements:
To be eligible for faster processing through the NSE, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Apply online.
2. Be a Nigerian Citizen or legally residing in Nigeria.
3. Have an acceptance from a post-secondary designated learning institution in Canada for a Bachelor's degree, Master's, Phd degree or a Post-Graduate Diploma course.
4. Live outside of Canada when you apply.
5. Have a MyBank certificate showing sufficient funds for your studies (equivalent of $30,000) for at least six (6) months plus 12 months of banking history.
6. Only if you're planning to study in Quebec, you must provide a Certificat du Quebec (CAQ) from the Ministere de Immigration.
7. Get a medical exam before you apply (Upfront Medicals).
8. Have a language test (IELTS) that shows; a score of 6.0 or higher in each skill (reading, speaking, writing, and listening).
Nigerians are eligible to work while they are studying in Canada. In addition, your spouse or common law partner is eligible to come with you and work in Canada during your study period. All they have to do is apply for a spousal open work permit.
NOTE:
You must print out the attached mybankStatement® from your email or request for a print-out at your bank and then submit it along with your application documents.
If you do not receive the mybankStatement®, contact your bank's customer service or contact via email support@visa-mybankstatement.com or phone +234 818 8762271 for assistance.
I hope this information is helpful to students and intending students
