Brexit became official in Jan 2020 and new trade deal terms took effect in 2021. Individuals and businesses alike are horrified and post Brexit chaos is REAL. Luxury watch dealers are also wondering how much will the UK watch market suffer? I'll share my own take on this and discuss where I think the UK watch market is headed on today's Episode 132 of Q&A Tuesday.

Almost everyone is at a "Cuckoo For Cocoa Puffs" fandom level when it comes to Rolex and I'll be honest, Rolex watches are great for countless reasons AND they rarely come in for service. They're just that durable but one viewer is beginning to have doubts. After finding some issues with his Rolex lume, and identifying a similar issue with a friend's Rolex, he's starting to question if lume issues are common with Rolex watches. Certainly more on that today.

Since the people in the UK will have no chance to buy watches from another country, as there will be a 25% additional cost when they purchase goods abroad, I'm very worried about losing my clients in the EU. What do you think about the situation?

⚙️ How should I go about buying preowned luxury watches or luxury jewelry for a girlfriend or wife without them being disappointed that it's preowned?

⚙️ I recently noticed a lume flaw with my Rolex Air King. Will having Rolex service this watch and replacing the dial and/or seconds hand reduce it's value? Are lume issues common with Rolex and does it affect resale value?

⚙️ I started looking for Rolex watches, as my first watch, because they're beautifully designed, timeless, robust and hold their value over time. I'm not willing to play the AD game for years and grey market prices are just going up and up, to the point where I'm looking at other brands. At what price point does Rolex become an absurd symbol of hype?

⚙️ As an immigrant to this country, do you feel the early struggles that you and your family endured were a good thing? Also do you think you would be where you are now if things were just handed to you and you didn't have to put in such hard work and sacrifice?

⚙️ With the demand for certain watches, there are a lot of people dropping a lot of money on a timepiece they have never seen in real life. What kind of advice would you have for people trying to figure out what watches would work for them without having the ability to see them in person?
