9-11 Tribute

The morning of September 11, 2001, was like any other day. As the sun began to rise and peek over the horizon, Americans all over the country were getting ready for work, school and going about their everyday routines.

Little did we know, there was a plan in place by a group of people who wanted to hurt America, to crash four planes into four American buildings. This was going to be a day we would never forget.

As that malicious plan unfolded, the news spread quickly across the country. everyone stopped, watched and listened.

Smoke and debris filled the air, and so did the groans and cries of the breaking hearts of the American people.

On this fateful day, we were reminded that we are one country, one people and together was the only way through this tragedy.

That day and for months following people put their differences aside and joined hands with their fellowman.

Ordinary citizens stepped up and became hero’s. They put their own lives at risk to save the victims of the attack and to defend this country from an enemy who wants to see America fall.

So today, we remember the heroes of 9-11 and those on the frontlines protecting our country and our freedom.

Today, we are Once again reminded that together we stand. Let us vow, that no enemy will ever catch us off our guard or be able to penetrate the unbreakable links of the American people hand in hand.
