Presidential Pets

Many of our presidents
owned several pets
that history book sometimes forget.
Yes,they had dogs,
cats, fish, and birds,
but several of them on pets more absurd.
Bear cubs, for instance,
lived at the White House.
One President even
had a pet mouse!
Goats, cows, raccoons,
horses galore,
turkeys and snakes,
a parrot that swore!
