Best Soft Matcha Chocolate Chip Cookies🍪

This is a softer version of my OG chocolate chip cookies recipe (which you can find here https://www.youtube.com/shorts/bouDQCB1peQ), and matcha flavoured this time. It tastes like you are eating green tea in the form of a cookie, and a mouthful of melted chocolate. I cut up a 75% dark chocolate bar and combined it with milk chocolate chips for different textures variation in the sweetness of the chocolate in the cookies. It makes a world of a difference and makes it a so much more exciting cookie. I didn't have high quality matcha powder on hand but it goes without saying that you should use the best matcha you can find for the most delicious results!

Ingredients🍪

112g butter
1 egg white
75g granulated sugar
75g brown sugar
10g matcha powder
180g cake flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
170g chocolate (I used a dark chocolate bar and milk chocolate chips)
seasalt flakes for sprinkling
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for around 10 minutes.
