Making Japanese Egg Sandwich From Scratch🥪 | Tangzhong Bread 🍞 Recipe

I have been spending a lot of time making tangzhong bread lately and decided to make a video out of it + using it in a homemade Japanese egg sandwich. These sandwiches have the softest and creamiest mouthfeel which makes them so delectable. I have very fond memories of me buying these in the 7elevens that I visited when I was travelling in Tokyo back in the days.

Recipe Tangzhong Bread🍞

Tangzhong:
30g bread flour
145ml water

Bread dough:
145ml water (or milk if you prefer that)
1tsp instant yeast (make sure it is not too old)
25ml liquid honey
350g bread flour
1 tsp salt
30g softened unsalted butter, at room temperature
all of the tangzhong

Bake bread at 180° Celsius for around 25 minutes.
