As China halted urea exports to Korea, some are voicing concerns that Korea could again experience a shortage crisis like the one that hit it two years ago. The Roundtable discusses how Korea should address and respond to China’s weaponization of natural resources.
On the occasion of President Yoon Suk Yeol’s state visit, Korea and the Netherlands agreed to forge a semiconductor alliance. The two countries will create a semiconductor dialogue channel and form a consultative body on supply chains of key chipmaking items. We estimate the effects and benefits the closer tech ties with the Netherlands will bring to Korea.

윤석열 대통령의 네덜란드 국빈 방문을 계기로 한국과 네덜란드가 ‘반도체 동맹’을 공식 명문화했다. ‘반도체 대화' 채널을 신설하고, 핵심 품목 공급망 협의체 구성 등을 추진하기로 했는데, 반도체 동맹이 가져올 효과를 전망해 본다.
