Pantry Challenge Review— what’s left?

Welcome back to another video! Today I’m sharing with you an organized kitchen tour including my pantry, fridge, and freezer drawer— AFTER the budget pantry challenge!

Here’s a few links to some things I mention in today’s video—

We still have a few items I need to use up that have been pushed aside for quite a while, but overall the challenge really helped us go through some things and SAVE MONEY. $200 to be exact!

I like to stick to a $400/month budget for my family of 4, but we knocked that down to $200 for the month of January. (Technically Dakota picked up a few things without me that I didn’t factor in, but I did show them in today’s inventory. Things like Halo Top and smoked salmon…)

I’ve had some questions come in about where we apply the savings from these pantry challenges. This month we moved into a new house, and that is a big expense. The $200 savings doesn’t even come close to what we have spent in the move…But it definitely helped off-set the expense of our eating out a few extra times, taking care of our friends’ meals the nights they helped us paint.
