Roam vs Obsidian - 3 Reasons Why I Choose Obsidian

Roam Research was one of the best discoveries I have ever made. The concept of linked note-taking changed everything about my digital setup and the way I capture my thoughts. Focusing on connecting notes rather than pressing them into a hierarchical structure supercharged my productivity and helped me create things rather than administrating them. I never realised it before, but a folder structure is just not the way my brain thinks, and therefore I always had problems structuring my notes in programs like Evernote.

And while I love Roam since the day I discovered it through Ali Abdaal's channel, Obsidian has lately taken its place in my perfect digital productivity setup. And these are the three reasons:
