Here is my performance of Rise by Johnny Marr as he demoed it on his Instagram.

I love the intro/main riff of this song with how the melody repeats over the chord changes. There are a lot of interesting subtle rhythmic accents. Dynamics make the melody riff really come together nicely where there is a constant low roll or rumbling of eight notes that the melody notes get plucked from, though I kind of butchered some of the ghost notes xp!

It was fun to learn this part and play it!

Boss Digital Delay to widen the sound by matching the tempo with the delay time which is what Marr does for this song.

The delay is a big part of the sound for this one. Also, Marr turns on a boost with more gain going into verse Em part and then turns it off when he goes back into that first riff.
