#SophieFromRomania goes exploring

Ever since she arrived in our house just before Christmas, our very timid rescue dog Sophie has lived in one room - the kitchen/living-room at the back of the home - although she has used the bathroom. The door to the hall, the front door and the front room. has stayed open - but she has never come close to stepping through . Then suddenly this weekend she wandered out into the hall, curious about the front door being open. She swiftly returned to her safe place but has made several other excursions - including a long one where she hung out with me in the front room. Seven months after she arrived, it finally feels like we're making progress.
