Maalaala Mo Kaya Recap: Barya (Ely's Life Story)

The three Palacio brothers begin working at a young age to help their mother, Toyang (Maria Isabel Lopez), support their family. Despite this, Idel (John Manalo), Diony (Andrew Muhlach), and Ely (Louise Abuel) treat their younger sister, Adel (Rhed Bustmante), like a princess. When Toyang begins to become frail, the three brothers leave home to work for better-paying jobs. Until one day, Ely (Ejay Falcon) never returns home. His sudden disappearance leaves a fracture in the once close family and severely weakens Toyang desire to live.
