Join Tom and Stace as we experience quite easily one of the scariest and most adrenaline-fuelled activities we've ever done - the Via Feratta Extreme at Honister Slate Mine! A Via Feretta (Italian for Iron Way) is a mountain climbing route, equipped with steel cables, iron ladders and other anchors, such as suspended bridges and cargo nets. There is currently only three routes available in the UK, with one of them being at the Honister Slate Mine in The Lake District, up an old miners' track on Fleetwith Pike!
