After having spent time exploring Mashatu Game Reserve's most scenic areas at Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu and spending a day in Photo Mashatu's incredible underground hide whilst staying at Mashatu Lodge, we finally shift our focus to game drives in this episode. We see two different leopards, two young male lions, a female cheetah, as well as plenty of elephants.

We also celebrate Tabby's birthday and head for Mashatu's smallest and most remote camp, Mashatu Tent Camp, which if I'm being honest, is my favourite camp in the reserve. Mashatu Tent camp has eight safari tents with outdoor bathrooms, a large, thatched communal area, and a basic two-level hide overlooking a small waterhole.

Mashatu Tent Camp is located on the norther tip of Mashatu and from there, you have access to the game-rich central area where leopards, lions, cheetah and elephants, along with general game, are plentiful.
