This is one of my favourite hotels and I have stayed here many times; it never disappoints.

Breakfast is probably the most important meal of the days and at this hotel, you won't want to miss it! The restaurant serving breakfast is called Sloane's and it also doubles as a sumptuous evening buffet style restaurant. Like dinner, breakfast is buffet style and the choice is enormous; I cannot think of anything that is missing. All tastes, faiths and dietary requirements are catered for and the food quality is superb. The waiting staff are attentive and discreet.

I usually have a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, some English breakfast tea (with cold milk), porridge, yoghurt and an apple. However, on lazy days I'll have pork sausages (yes, you can have pork sausages and pork bacon!) with eggs over easy, a couple of hash browns and some baked beans.

In winter months I like to eat on the outside terrace and watch the sun come up over the marina, and in some summer months too, if I'm up early enough as it gets very warm quite quickly. Alternatively, sitting inside is equally good, especially in summer.
