Here is my Heathrow to Dubai Virgin Upper Class night flight.

This is a short video filmed in flight and captures the calmness of flying First Class with Virgin Airways - Virgin calls it Upper Class.

It was such a cool experience and the flat bed is extremely useful on a night flight as it means I was wide awake to enjoy the whole day when we landed in Dubai around 0830 the following morning.

Most of this video looks at the seating, beds, and bar but the last part shows you some amazing footage out the window - be sure to check it out.

Heathrow (LHR) to Dubai (DXB) takes around seven hours, give or take, and I've found the best way to deal with the time change is to fly OUT on the overnight flight from the UK and fly BACK on a morning flight from Dubai. I'm not sure if this will work for everyone, but it works for me and I must have flown this route 600+ times.

This is shot in HD at 60 fps and all on my iPhone 6 Plus. Light wasn't great inside the aircraft I'm afraid but the image quality is useable.
