PAN AM AIRLINES 1950s NORWAY, DENMARK & SWEDEN TRAVELOGUE 72432

"Wings to Vikingland" is a Pan Am travelogue about Scandinavia and specifically Norway, Denmark and Sweden. The flight is made aboard a Pan Am Clipper -- a four engine Boeing Stratocruiser equipped with Sleeperette seats. The flight takes less than 24 hours and meals served aboard are from Maxim's of Paris. The trip begins in Stockholm and contains vivid images of the downtown and Saltsjobanan observation deck. The trip to Norway is made by ship at about the 17 minute mark. Independence Day is celebrated at the 24 minute mark in Oslo, and a spectacular parade is seen. Copenhagen is seen at the 26 minute mark, including the famed Mermaid statue and a production of Hamlet.
