Der eigene Körper wird zum Musikinstrument. Body Percussion oder Body Music fördert unser Bewusstsein für Kommunikation, Koordination, Unabhängigkeit und Zusammenspiel im Ensemble. Außerdem bringt die Gruppenerfahrung eine Menge Spaß.

Es sind keine Vorkenntnisse erforderlich! Body Music ist eine wertvolle Bereicherung für alle aus den Bereichen Gesang, Instrumentalmusik, Tanz, Schauspiel, bildende Kunst oder allgemeine Pädagogik, besonders auch Musik-, Rhythmus- und Bewegungspädagogik. Und natürlich alle die generell interessiert sind!

Body Rhythm Hamburg 2015 is the first international meeting for body music of its kind held in
northern Germany.

On the Pentecost weekend of the 23-25th of May the crème de la crème of the international body
music scene will gather in the old cannery in Hamburg-Altona. Keith Terry, founder and
mastermind of the International Body Music Festival (IBMF), Charles Raszl, member of the
internationally successful Brazilian body percussion group Barbatuques and Sarah Lasaki of the
percussion show STOMP, will form the trio of top-class workshop instructors. They will join forces
for the first time in Germany. In addition it's a big pleasure to have two fantastic guest workshops in
the program. The afro dancer Sylvia Mograbi offers an introduction to the "Gumboot Dance" and
tap dancer Nicola Hartlef will pimp your footwork in "Tap'n'Body".

Anyone who likes to experience music and rhythm physically is welcome! No previous experience
is required. Whether amateurs or professionals, body percussion is a valuable asset to artists, in general dancers, singers, musicians, actors, teachers and all people who are interested. Especially also music, rhythm and movement educators. We offer a variety of topics of basic and intensive level.
