The Box 2.0 is a new wireless adapter from MMB. It supports both wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, each can be toggled by its physical smart button that’s located on the side of its casing.

Connection is as simple as pairing with the adapter over Bluetooth. Total boot time into CarPlay was 20 seconds and 23 seconds into Android Auto. Making the Box 2.0 one of the fastest wireless adapters I’ve tested.

Once connected, the Box 2.0 performs very well on both platforms, with very rapid response times with touch input and interaction. Resolution is kept intact and generally, this is the best it can get when using CarPlay or Android Auto wirelessly. Audio and calling sound decent with low delay, and overall, this adapter is well recommended for its performance.

It gets marked down for its lack of configuration options and no GPS passthrough support, and without an SD slot or USB port, any future updates have to be done over the air.
