New Years Day Lunch in Japan

Nathan and I decided that this last year that we have here in Japan, we wanted to try more Japanese traditions.
This New Years one of my great friends here helped me order some traditional foods for the holidays.
For Christmas, it is common in Japan to eat KFC, but the stores sell out fast. Nathan opted to make his own, and it was delicious.
For New Years, you order this bento from 711 and eat for for lunch with family.

I'm not sure that we would order this again. It was very little food for the price, and we aren't big fans of octopus and dried fish. It was a beautiful bento, and it was fun to try different things!
