Today we are taking a scenic walk-through starting from London Bridge Station and finishing at Central London’s marina, St Katharine Docks. On a sunny day like today, ☀️ this is up on the list of good London walks!

As we come out of London Bridge Station 🚇, we go straight to Borough Market which is one of the largest and oldest food markets in London 🧀🥐🦪🐟🍖. The place is usually packed but because of lockdown, it’s rather quiet.

As we head towards the river promenade, we pass the Southwark Cathedral ⛪️ which is the oldest gothic church in London, dating from 1220. Just a stone throw away from the Cathedral is a viewpoint of the City of London where we can see its skyscrapers. We carry-on with our walk crossing the real London Bridge which is often mixed-up with Tower Bridge. 🌉

Further down, we find the festive decorations of Hays Galleria , an old warehouse converted into restaurants, residential, commercial and office spaces. The place also offers a good view of the HMS Belfast ⛴, a surviving Second World War Royal Navy Ship.

Our promenade walk continues to capture the icons of London—Tower of London 🏰 is just opposite of the River, the Shard 🗼 is just behind us and the City Hall 🐌 next to us. We also cross the historic Tower Bridge 🌉 - so grand, beautiful and very unique. The view from the bridge is also amazing!

We finish our walk exploring Central London’s marina ⛴⚓️, St Katharine Docks. The place is one of London’s hidden gems—a waterside community with luxury homes, restaurants, cafes and office spaces.
