DC teacher aide admits using hot sauce to punish student with autism

“How could the school let this happen?” A D.C. mother shared her frustration with 7News after learning a teacher aide used hot sauce to punish her son, who is non-verbal and has autism.

The teacher's aide, Imani Davis, pleaded guilty and admitted to the offense in Court on Monday. She was given community service as part of a plea deal.
